“Boots On The Ground” is a way to represent how subcontractors think about their industry. These days, General Contractors have become Construction Managers and generally perform less than 10% of the work on a project. The work is performed by subcontractors, also known as trade contractors.
The NCSA logo has elements of the NC state flag to represent our focus on state and local levels and the boot print to show that subcontractors provide the “Boots on the Ground” to get the work done.
